Every day felt like a sun-drenched lake day, filled with back-to-back golf tournaments, family-friendly adventures, and unforgettable memories. Often referred to as Idaho's premier backcountry airstrip, Johnson Creek lies east of McCall near Yellow Pine. Well-equipped with tables, fire pits, restrooms, and showers, this scenic campground invites you to experience the dramatic mountain vistas. From the west side of the airstrip, a trail begins near midfield and leads to a two-mile uphill hike south, where you'll find Jerry Johnson Hot Springs, also known as JJ Hot Springs.
