The Discovery Cottages at Whitetail Club are five beautifully designed cottages that immerse our guests in the Whitetail Club lifestyle. Discovery Cottages
Your home away from home during your visit to Whitetail Club. With a peaceful water view and easy access to our lakefront clubhouse, you’ll be perfectly positioned to experience all that Whitetail Club offers.
Discovery Center
Here is where you can get an insider’s look into the design of our exquisite homes. From external renderings to interior fixtures and finishes, our Design Center has all the vision and inspiration needed for your mountain-lake home.
Whitetail Club Golf Course
Venture into the rugged Idaho Mountains to play Whitetail Club’s award-winning golf course. It’s one of Golfweek’s Best Resort Courses and one of America’s 100 Greatest Courses according to Golf Digest.
Designed by Roger Packard and two-time U.S. Open winner Andy North, the scenic 18-hole, par-72 course comprises 7,200 yards and serves as an important link in the Idaho Golf Trail. Whitetail Club offers a variety of practice environments for golfers working to refine their game, including a driving range, putting greens and chipping greens.
The course’s 3,500-square-foot full-service clubhouse is equipped with a premium pro shop, swing-training equipment and analysis tools, locker rooms, bag storage, restaurant, lounge and outdoor patio.
The Fish & Swim Club
The Fish & Swim Club is our members-only social hot spot! Join friends and family as you splash around in the saltwater pool or gather around the trout pond’s beach fire pit. Visit The Fish & Swim Club restaurant for brunch on a leisurely Sunday or for a live musical performance and dinner. Family-friendly adventures also happen on the pond in kayaks and canoes or inside the game room, which is stocked with fun for the whole gang.
Fall Hiking
Whitetail Club is filled with miles of groomed hiking trails, but the trails don’t stop inside the community. Payette National Forest and The Frank Church—River of No Return Wilderness Area, one of the country’s largest wilderness preserves, are part of the authentic McCall experience. Whether you decide to wind through expansive trail systems overlooking Payette Lake at Ponderosa Park or trek through Grass Mountain Lakes to bask in the picture-perfect scenery, choose the trail of adventure this autumn.
Make A Splash
Whitetail Club has 10 miles of single-track mountain biking trails as part of its long list of incredible amenities. The lower traverse trail is ideal for beginners and those who adore rolling hills featuring open meadows and forested patches. The Whitetail Chute, a downhill-only trail with rock rollovers, berms, and stellar drops, offers heart-racing excitement for the more thrill-inclined riders. And the other seven courses provide plenty of fun for everyone.
And if you are hungry for more, just beyond Whitetail Cub's gates, you will find some of the best mountain biking trails the country has to offer, conveniently located just a short distance away. Our concierge can assist you in procuring your mountain bikes to help you get started on your adventure.
Fall Golf
While our championship course closes in mid-late October, that does not mean you cannot still have a great offseason. The Studio at Whitetail Club promises that golf is a year-round activity for our members. Adjacent to the 9th green, our state-of-the-art training center houses two practice bays, each outfitted with realistic turf, draped enclosures, and a revolutionary simulator.
The Studio is also home to a pair of TrackMan 4 – the most revolutionary training tool in the industry and the leading launch monitoring technology on the PGA tour. From club speed to face angle to ball spin and much more, the internal HD camera coupled with state-of-the-art software provides performance-enhancing graphics to show you a complete analysis of every swing.
Winter at Whitetail Club
Nordic Skiing
The Trailhead is your cross-country hub for the winter season. There you'll find maps of more than 20 kilometers of groomed trails for every skill level that are carefully maintained by Whitetail Club staff. Access to top-of-the-line Nordic equipment, both classic and skate, with an assortment of boots, skis, and poles is also included. With white-capped mountains and trees adorned with snow, bask in the low morning sun while you breathe in the brisk cool morning air at Whitetail Club.
Alpine Skiing
McCall was named “one of the best secret ski towns of North America” by National Geographic, and we could not agree more. Our remote location and spectacular elevation (5,013 feet) make for thrilling winters. With Brundage Mountain Resort approximately eight miles from our coveted community, featuring a summit elevation of 7,640 feet, pulse-pounding runs are just minutes away. And for those always looking for the latest and greatest, McCall's backcountry skiing is second to none.
The Cove
An unforgettable mountain town deserves an unforgettable mountain spa. That is why we created The Cove, an authentic McCall Spa.
